Based on the crash information, the file that is failing is Framework.dll which belongs to the greeting card application itself. In my understanding, this type of Broderbund software was originally written for much older versions of Windows (XP / Windows 7 era), and a number of components they rely on are no longer natively supported in Windows 10/11.
I understand this is not an ideal situation, but this behavior is related to how the application was built, rather than a Windows error. This is why Compatibility Mode and the Troubleshooter do not resolve the issue, the crash is occurring inside the application’s own framework, not because of incompatibility settings
In most cases, the stable approach solution is to install and run it inside a Windows 7 virtual machine (for example Hyper-V or VirtualBox), where the required legacy components still exist.
