Hi all,

Do AD users and external users have access to all features in M365 in terms of licensing? Is there any difference in the features available in any of the workloads to a licensed external users from a licensed AD user - both holding the same license?

(i.e. a particular feature is only available to a E5 holding AD user but not available to a E5 holding external users)

If there is, can someone share the list of all the features made unavailable to external users?

@Fasil Abdu Thanks for reaching out.

If you assign a M365 license to external user, they have all the features like a normal user in your tenant. There is no difference.
Here is how you can assign a license to the guest user : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/assign-licenses-to-users?view=o365-worldwide#assign-a-license-to-a-guest-user

    Hope it helps.
