How to resolve Azure Authenticator Login Issue?

I am no longer able to log in to my Azure account on a PC browser. It asks for the authenticator app notification every time or requests a 6-digit code.

I check my authenticator app on my Android device, and I don't see any 6-digit code, but I see 8 8-digit codes. I also don't see any notification popping up from the authenticator app.

    The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to re-register MFA.
