Why can't I see subtasks in the bucket view of the new planner application?

    Hi Utkan,

In the new Planner, what many people call "subtasks" inside a task are usually checklist items. Bucket view shows only tasks as cards, not checklist items, so they will not appear in the bucket view. This is expected in basic plans.

If you want each sub-item to show up in a bucket, convert it into its own task. Open the parent task, hover over the checklist line you want, choose the Promote option to make it a separate task, then assign it to the right bucket.

Note that true hierarchical subtasks are a premium feature in the new Planner. If you are on a basic plan, you will not get nested tasks in board or bucket view, only standalone tasks.
