Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hello @Louise Jensen,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience with New Outlook.
To clarify, the absence of the “Reply” or “Reply All” action in Quick Steps for New Outlook is by design at this time. Currently, Quick Steps in New Outlook only support actions like Forward or Reply with Meeting, and the standard “Reply” option is not available. I completely understand how inconvenience this change can be and I’m truly sorry for this situation has caused.
You’re not alone, many users have expressed the same concern as you in this case: Microsoft Q&A – The action Reply or Reply All is not available in Quick Steps. The best way to ensure this gets prioritized by our product team is to submit feedback through the official Microsoft Feedback Portal.
The more votes and comments an item receive, the higher its visibility and priority. If you share the link to your feedback here, others in the community (including myself) can upvote it to help bring more attention to the issue.
I also recommend you mark an "Accepted Answer" for now. Doing so will pin the thread to the top, making it easier for others to find when searching with related keywords. It also helps highlight the discussion for users who might benefit from it, and of course, the thread remains open for anyone to join and share their thoughts.
Thank you again for your persistence and for sharing your experience so openly. It really helps us understand where improvements are needed. If you’d like further assistance, feel free to create a new post on this Q&A Forum. we’re always here to support you as much as possible.
Warmest regards.
