Cannot update or install anything in the Microsoft Store. It just fails every time. I have tried resetting the store through run but that is no good. Already ran wsreset.exe.

Error 0X800706D9. Store was already reset

Apps cannot be installed. Nothing can be updated. See error above.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

doesn't exist on my Win 11.

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

This does not exist on my Win 11.

    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks for the clarifications.

    I suggest you do the following:

    Sign out of your Microsoft account on the Microsoft Store app and sign in again with the same account.

    See if the mentioned problem is fixed.

    If it persists, re-register the Microsoft Store.

    (Close the Microsoft Store before doing this to avoid errors.)

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Terminal (Admin)";
    2. Type or paste the following command and press Enter:
    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    Note if the command will run correctly or will have a red message.

    1. Restart the PC.

    If the problem persists, please let me know, and I will provide another method.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?

    Also. What is the current version and "OS Build" of your Windows 11?

    • Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

    If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Q&A is public.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.
