    Hi Bev,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it is to see your contact group names disappear after an update. This usually happens when Outlook updates or switches between Classic and New Outlook, which can affect how contacts sync.

I'd suggest checking if your contacts and groups appear online at Outlook People. If they’re there, it’s likely a sync issue in the desktop app, try switching back to Classic Outlook under Help > Switch to Classic Outlook. If they’re missing online too, they may have been stored locally; in that case, look for .pst files and import them via File > Open & Export > Import/Export.

Can you confirm if your contacts show up when you sign in to Outlook on the web?

Let me know how it goes. If you found this helpful, marking it as helpful might make it easier for others to find the solution. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Carlo
