About a month ago, I updated Windows, and when it rebooted, the OS was deactivated. I couldn't see my product key and after a week or 2 of trying to figure it out I reached out to Microsoft and the agent got my key and reactivated the OS but for some reason with the other update that I allowed to do overnight has deactivated the OS again just wanted to see if I'm the only one and I tried to reactivate myself but i cant remember where they went to activate it I only see change product key but i get an error (0xc004f074) tells me to make sure I'm connected to the organizations network when i do that.

    Hi,

My name is Igor. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you. I am merely a fellow user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful to others.

For home computer this error code says the activation and possibly installation were made illegally. This could do unfair seller, technician or any other person during computer repairing. Please, ask PC manufacturer whether it preinstalled Windows on this device.

    How did you purchase Windows?
