How to change the date format from mm/dd to dd/mm.

If i type 1/11 for 1 Nov it shows 11 Jan. I changed region form uk, newzealand, south Africa all the same. Please help - What region and what setting. Im working on excell online. I tried everything in format date and other. No luck

    In Excel online, select the cells the dates will be located in then press Ctrl + 1 to open the formatting Options panel, set Category to Number - Date, then set the country to English UK or English Ireland and apply that, is the date format then set correctly?

    HI.
    I did all of that. still dont change it.
    It changes the date and month around - It is set to d/mm and if i type 1/11 for 1 Nov it shows 11 Jan.
    Were do i change the default settings from M/D to what i need - D/M ??

    If those settings did not resolve the problem, go to your Microsoft account online, then go to 'Your Info' - 'Regional formats' - 'Configure Options' and check your Region and formats set there.
