I try to sign in to my Azure account with

I am prompted to go to my Authenticator app and enter a number. Which I do. Then back on the browser I am prompted with a question if I want to stay signed in. Which I accept and on the browser I get another Authenticator prompt and on the phone I get a message that there was a 'Sign-in error' with the following message: 'Error finding an account to complete multi-factor authentication. You may need to add the account again.'

Receiving Text/Call/Security Key

Usually if the number from authenticator doesn't work, one of the above methods should work.

Make sure the work/school account is present in the authenticator app.
Sometimes we can mix personal accounts with professional accounts, that could be another point of failure.

Finally, you can ask your Azure Entra ID Admin to reset your authentication method or select require re-register multi factor authentication for your user.

These are the steps that I used

Clicked on signin

I am prompted to supply an email address to signin
Then I am prompted to select a signin method and I select via a mobile app

I am given a number to supply to the Authenticator on my iOS phone
This I do and the Authenticator on my phone prompts me for the signin number and it seems to succeed

No matter what I select I am prompted on the phone that there was a signin error and the prompt on the browser remains

Until I clear the cache on my browser every subsequent signin attempt results in the same signin error on my phone.

I tried using another authentication method and I get
