snipit tool lost file in crash

I recovered the file it's temporary but when I try to open it from screen recordings it says the file is corrupted can we fix this

    No worries, we can try to fix that .As I known, when Snipping Tool crashes while recording, it sometimes leaves behind a half-saved file. That’s why it looks corrupted now, the video didn’t finish writing.I suggest you to do these, it might be helpful:

    1. Make a copy of that file first, just to be safe.
    2. If the file name ends with .tmp, try renaming it to .mp4 and open it again.
    3. If it still won’t play, open it with **VLC
