Hi, sorry I'm a bit of a computer noob when it comes to crashes etc. Had my computer a few months and it has crashed on me today whist loading a website up, it didn't blue screen but came up a black screen saying it had to shut down.

The website I opened when the crash happened was realtimetrains.co.uk it's never crashed on this website before and lately I haven't installed any different apps as I only. Use it for x plane and flight sim.

This is the crash dump and would appreciate any help this is the link.

Hi, thank you for that information. In this case, let us run a clean installation of the Nvidia driver. This is different from doing DDU or updating the driver, as this will remove all entries and replace them with compatible ones. Kindly follow the steps from the link below:

It seems your computer encountered a crash related to ntoskrnl.exe, which is a critical component of the Windows operating system. This type of crash can occur due to various factors, including hardware malfunctions, driver issues, or corrupted system files. Since the crash happened while you were visiting a website, it could also be linked to your web browser or a specific extension.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Update Your System: Make sure your Windows operating system and all drivers are current. Updates often resolve bugs that may lead to crashes.
    2. Analyze the Crash Dump: You can use debugging tools to analyze the crash dump file you mentioned. If you have the Windows SDK installed, you can open the dump file in WinDbg to check for specific errors associated with ntoskrnl.exe. This analysis can help identify if a particular driver or hardware component is at fault.
    3. Run Diagnostics: Utilize built-in Windows diagnostic tools to check for hardware problems. The Windows Memory Diagnostic tool can help identify RAM issues, while the Check Disk utility can scan for disk errors.
    4. Check Event Viewer: Access the Event Viewer on your computer to look for error messages or warnings that occurred around the time of the crash. This information can provide additional context regarding the crash.
    5. Boot in Safe Mode: Try booting your computer in Safe Mode to determine if the crash occurs again. If it does not, the issue may be related to third-party software or drivers.

If the problem continues after these steps, consider seeking assistance from a professional technician for further diagnosis and support.

As per checking and analyzing the DMP files, you have there is an error dxgmms2.sys, this is actually an issue related to your graphics card driver. May I know the make and model of your Graphics card? so that I can provide you steps wherein we will do a clean installation of the graphics card driver.
