frontdoor deletion issue

Service: Azure Front Door (Standard/Premium)

Tier: Standard (or Premium – whichever applies)

Problem: I attempted to delete my Front Door Standard profile front-1 ,front-door2, but it's stuck in the Deleting state. I have attempted to delete via Azure CLI, Portal, and API Resource Explorer all fail with a Conflict error, indicating an operation is still in progress. Child resources like endpoints and domains are either already deleted or unreachable (some return ParentResourceNotFound).

Request: Please perform a backend cleanup and remove the stuck Front Door profile and its zombie dependencies. I no longer need this profile and would like it fully removed from my subscription

    Good day, i hope you are doing well!

    Quick update — Azure has lifted the temporary block on configuration operations. All create, update, delete, WAF, and cache purge actions for Azure Front Door and Azure CDN profiles are now enabled again.

    If the profile still appears locked or pending migration, please retry the operation. It may take up to 45 minutes for configuration and propagation to complete for added safety, as noted in the Azure Front Door FAQ.

    Once propagation finishes, you should be able to proceed with migration finalization or further updates. If the issue persists beyond that window, please do let us know.
