Hi Nick,
Thanks for reaching out.
You don’t install OpenGL separately on Windows. It comes through your graphics drivers. To enable or update OpenGL:
- Identify your GPUs (Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce 820M).
- Download the latest drivers from Intel and NVIDIA official sites.
- Install and restart your laptop.
OpenGL versions supported by your laptop's graphics
- Intel HD Graphics (with i7-4510U) supports OpenGL 4.3.
- NVIDIA GeForce 820M supports OpenGL 4.5 (via driver updates)
Here are the official driver download links:
Intel HD Graphics (for your i7-4510U) Intel Download Center Tip: Use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant on that page for automatic detection and updates. [intel.com]
NVIDIA GeForce 820M NVIDIA GeForce Drivers Select: [nvidia.com]
- Product Type: GeForce
- Series: GeForce 800M Series (Notebooks)
- Product: GeForce 820M
- OS: Your Windows version
Is your laptop a surface device? If, yes, what model it is?

Hope this helps. But feel free to reply if you have more questions.
Regards,
Rez
