I need some information about your system.

    1

Right click your Start button and open Device Manager.

Expand the Sound, Video and Game Controllers section, please provide a screenshot of that full window.

    2

Click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

If your microphone level slider keeps resetting to 0% after updating your computer and drivers, it could be due to a few reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Microphone Permissions: Ensure that microphone permissions are enabled for your applications. You can check this in the privacy settings of Windows.
    2. Replug the Microphone: Sometimes, simply unplugging and replugging the microphone can resolve the issue.
    3. Test with Different Microphone: If possible, try using a different microphone to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the microphone itself or the system.
    4. Update Drivers: Make sure that your audio drivers are fully updated. You can do this through Device Manager.
    5. Check Sound Settings: Go to the sound settings and ensure that the correct microphone is selected as the default device.
    6. Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix issues related to device settings.

If none of these steps work, there may be a deeper issue with the audio settings or the microphone hardware itself.
