invalid disk error

I've got a server with network shares that we let students connect to and save work to. Unfortunately, a student deleted another students folder and we have to bring it back. I cloned a nimble snapshot and added it as a datastore in vShpere. Once I tried connecting it to the server I and got into disk management and imported the foreign disk it gave me an error saying the disk was invalid and the data was incomplete. Tried talking to support and they told me they cant help. I tried connecting it to a different server and reading the data that way but to no avail.

    Hello,

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

I would like to suggest you to check below Troubleshooting steps.

    1. Can you attach the snapshot disk to same Server,
    2. Can you try export the disk snapshot to directly as .vhdx and attached it to the another server.

If still issue persists it will best to take Nimble support.
