What is free location for using. When i am trying to create server name then no free location available so.

If you are not seeing any free locations available, it may be due to capacity constraints in the region you are trying to select. Azure periodically updates its available regions and capacity, so you might want to try again later or select a different region that may have available capacity for free services.

Additionally, ensure that you are following the guidelines for creating a server name and that it meets Azure's naming requirements, as this can also affect your ability to create a server successfully.

Are you deploying SQL Server on a Virtual Machine (IaaS) or using Azure SQL Database (PaaS)?

Which Azure region are you trying to deploy the SQL Server in?

Have you checked whether your subscription has reached any resource limits or quotas in that region?

Do you see any error messages or warnings when selecting the region or image? If yes, could you share a screenshot or the exact message?
