Hi all,

I'm trying to obtain the original MS download for W11 24h2 as we are required to test this before mass deployment.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

You can download the official Windows 11 24H2 ISO directly from Microsoft’s website using the Media Creation Tool or Installation Assistant.

To do that, please follow this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Choose Installation Assistant if you're upgrading an existing device.
Choose Create Installation Media to generate a bootable USB or DVD.
Choose Download ISO if you want the full offline installer for testing.

But I suggest you should test first. When doing testing, make sure to verify the build number and edition (e.g., Pro, Enterprise) matches your deployment target.

the above link is offering only the latest build of Windows 11, i.e 25H2.
How can we download the older versions from a trusted source?

This tool allows you to generate ISO files for previous Windows 11 builds by downloading update packages directly from Microsoft servers. You can select the version you need (e.g., 24H2 or 23H2) and build a bootable ISO locally.

This has been my takeaway as well; we can only get 25H2 now from Microsoft. Harry Phan, is there any way to get 24H2 from a trusted source?

I was able to get the correct version using UP Dump, there appears to be no way of getting W11 24H2 direct from Microsoft as they have moved on to 25H2.

This was my fix.
