Passwords missing on Edge

Yesterday everything was working fine and my passwords were stored in Edge. This afternoon when I got back on, my password list was empty. I went to another computer and checked the passwords. They were there for a few seconds and then just disappeared from the screen. Apparently late yesterday (11/5/25) there were Windows updates to my computer (it shows three setpoints near the same time). I am running Edge version 142.0.3595.53. How can I recover these passwords, I am talking about MANY passwords. Thank you.

Hi J. Thanks for letting us know. Were you signed in to Edge with your Microsoft account when the passwords disappeared?

Please check if Sync is turned on by opening Edge, selecting Settings, then Profiles, then Sync. Make sure Passwords is enabled. If Sync was paused, sign back in to your Microsoft account and let Edge resync your data. Your saved passwords are stored securely in the Microsoft Cloud and linked to your account, so once Sync is active, they should appear again.
