Any trial version must be canceled before the end of the trial period, or it will be converted to a paid subscription. Sign in to your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services , turn off recurring billing and then cancel. If you selected a free trial for Microsoft 365 and were charged, it is likely because the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you turn off recurring billing. To potentially receive a refund, you can check if you are eligible for a prorated refund based on your billing account type. If you have an MCA billing account type, you can cancel within seven days of the subscription start or renewal to receive a prorated credit or refund. If more than seven days have passed, you can turn off recurring billing to prevent further charges, but you will not receive a refund for the current charge.

To proceed, you should contact Microsoft support for assistance with your billing issue and to discuss your refund options.
