It sounds like there may have been a misconfiguration in your OneDrive settings regarding the backup of your Music folder. OneDrive can automatically back up certain folders, including Music, if the backup settings are not properly adjusted. Here are a few steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check OneDrive Settings: Open OneDrive settings and verify that the Music folder is indeed deselected for backup. You can do this by right-clicking the OneDrive cloud icon in the system tray, selecting Settings, and then navigating to the Backup tab.
    2. Selective Sync: Ensure that you have set up selective sync properly. This allows you to choose which folders to sync with OneDrive. If Music is selected, it will be backed up regardless of your initial choice.
    3. Remove Files from OneDrive: If the files have already been uploaded to OneDrive, you can manually remove them from OneDrive while ensuring they remain on your local machine.
    4. Reconfigure Backup Options: If necessary, you may want to reconfigure your backup options to ensure that the Music folder is excluded from future backups.

If you continue to experience issues, consider checking the OneDrive support documentation for further troubleshooting steps or contacting Microsoft support for assistance.

    Hello,

Please type regedit in the search on the taskbar to launch registry editor, and go to this path, then take a screenshot and share in your reply.

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
