    Hello ECOS2 Admin,

As the A (v1) series VMs have been retired, you’ll need to switch to a different size. You should migrate your workloads to Av2-series VMs, as they offer increased memory per vCPU and faster SSD storage.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can consider:

Basic and Standard A-series VMs retired on 31 August 2024

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates?id=action-required-migrate-your-azure-workloads-to-av2series-vms-before-31-august-2024

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes/retirement/av1-series-retirement?source=recommendations

Please be aware that Av2 sizes will be discontinued in November 2028. You may want to consider choosing a different size. The chart in the article below provides suggested replacements for Av2 sizes.

    Recommended Replacement VM Series

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/migration/sizes/d-ds-dv2-dsv2-ls-series-migration-guide#recommended-replacement-vm-series

I also suggest resizing your other A series VM to prevent any potential issues.

I hope the above helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions on this

    Regards,

    Shraddha

    Hi,

Since A (v1) series VMs are retired you should switch to different size. For example, you could switch to Standard_A2_v2.

Basic and Standard A-series VMs will retire on 31 August 2024

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates?id=action-required-migrate-your-azure-workloads-to-av2series-vms-before-31-august-2024

Please note that Av2 sizes will retire in November 2028, so you may want to consider a different size. You can look at chart in article below for suggested replacements for Av2 sizes:

    Recommended Replacement VM Series

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/migration/sizes/d-ds-dv2-dsv2-ls-series-migration-guide#recommended-replacement-vm-series

I would also recommend you resize your other A series VM to avoid issues.
