HI Guys,

Despite several offers from some great folks on this site I have been unable to open a query regarding an account overcharge. So in desperation I'm now looking for ways to contact (easily) a human with a pulse, or worse case scenario start a chat with someone who can actually help.

All offers and suggestions gratefully received...

    Hello Bjh,

Thanks for reaching out. Here are practical steps they can take to resolve the billing overcharge:

    1. Sign in to the account and check the billing history to confirm the overcharge. Sometimes charges are for subscriptions or services linked to the account.
    2. Use the official support channels:
      • Go to the Microsoft Support page and select Billing & Subscriptions.
      • Start a live chat or request a call back. These options usually appear after you sign in and describe the issue.
    3. Contact via phone: Microsoft provides regional support numbers.
    4. Submit a billing dispute: If the charge is incorrect, you can file a dispute through the account’s payment section. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-store-and-billing

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Rez
