Everytime I try to set up the desktop app, it asks for an account and no matter which one I chose, the sign in box only flashes by and does not allow me to sign in and the app will not set up.

Try to reset your Teams app.

Be sure to make use of the method provided for the New Teams application.

Uninstall any currently installed Teams application and install again from the official installation site:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app

If you have any 3rd party Antivirus/Firewall or Network optimizations installed, disable these applications.

Yes, I can, but it still will not set up or let me sign in on my PC. That last update really messed up a lot of stuff, as I cannot sign into any apps. The sign in box flashes open and shut too quick to fill out.
