Using the New Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar

If you’re getting the error message "You’ve tried too many times with an incorrect account or password" even though you entered the correct email and password, you’re not alone. This error message has been reported by several users recently.
My first suggestion is to try signing in using “Other ways to sign in” instead of entering your password. From there, choose to receive a code through your linked verification methods.
If that doesn’t work, some users mentioned that waiting more than 24 hours without making any sign-in attempts can remove the block on your account, allowing you to log in normally afterward.
