    Hi,

If you’re getting the error message "You’ve tried too many times with an incorrect account or password" even though you entered the correct email and password, you’re not alone. This error message has been reported by several users recently.

My first suggestion is to try signing in using “Other ways to sign in” instead of entering your password. From there, choose to receive a code through your linked verification methods.

If that doesn’t work, some users mentioned that waiting more than 24 hours without making any sign-in attempts can remove the block on your account, allowing you to log in normally afterward.

If you're facing issues logging into your Microsoft account after multiple failed attempts and a password reset, it's possible that your account has been temporarily locked due to security measures. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Wait for the Lockout Period: After several failed login attempts, your account may be locked for a period of time (usually around 5 minutes). Try waiting for a while before attempting to log in again.
    2. Use the Correct Credentials: Ensure that you are entering the correct username and the new password you set. Double-check for any typos, and make sure there are no extra spaces if you are copying and pasting.
    3. Account Recovery: If you continue to have trouble, you may need to go through the account recovery process. You can visit the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the instructions provided there.
    4. Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They can provide specific help regarding your account status and any additional steps you may need to take.

By following these steps, you should be able to regain access to your account.
