Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

Thanks for reaching out and sharing about the missing “Attach as Copy” option. I understand it’s important to send files as actual attachments instead of OneDrive links.
In New Outlook for Windows, files from OneDrive or SharePoint default to cloud links. To attach as a copy, select your file, click the dropdown next to Share Link, and choose Attach. There’s currently no setting to make this the default, but Microsoft is aware and may add it in future updates. For now, you can share feedback through Help > Feedback in Outlook.
