I am trying to deploy a webapp to production that uses .NET 10 (LTS). I only see .NET 10 (LTS) (Preview) as an option. When will the .NET 10 (LTS) runtime stack be available in Azure?

    Thank you for reaching out.

The reason you’re seeing “.NET 10 (LTS) (Preview)” in Azure App Service is because Microsoft rolls out new runtime stacks gradually after the official release. .NET 10 became GA on November 11, 2025, but App Service keeps the Preview tag until all regions finish validation. This phased approach helps ensure stability before marking it fully GA.

Hi Carlos! .NET 10 (LTS) has been officially released, but Azure App Service still lists it as Preview, so it’s not fully GA yet. Microsoft is rolling out the runtime over the next couple of months. For now, you can test with the preview version, but stick with .NET 8 (LTS) for production until .NET 10 GA becomes available.
