password issue

Hi

I had to change my password recently, however every time I try to log in to my account, it tells me that the password is incorrect.

I must have changed my password at least 7 times now and every time I do so and try to log in with the new password, I am told it is incorrect and I cannot gain access to my Microsoft account. This has happened repeatedly over the past few weeks with my having changed the password via the 'Forgot your password' multiple times. Now when I try to sign in I am given the 'You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.' message.

I would really appreciate some help with this as I currently cannot gain access to my emails or any other Microsoft services at all.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Kate Furby, thanks for posting this in our community.

It sounds like your account may be temporarily locked due to multiple failed sign-in attempts, especially since you're seeing the message "You've tried to sign in too many times...".
