    Hi Philip,

Thank you for reaching out about the issue with your password not working on your iPad even though it works on your laptop. I understand how frustrating it can be when credentials work on one device but fail on another especially when you are certain the password is correct. This usually happens due to differences in app configuration or cached credentials on the device.

To resolve this try removing the account from your iPad and then re-adding it to ensure the settings refresh properly. Also confirm that your iPad has the latest version of the Outlook app and that the device’s operating system is up to date as outdated software can cause sign-in issues. If your account uses multi-factor authentication make sure you complete that step during sign-in.

Could you check if the issue persists after re-adding the account?

I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back

    Regards,

    Marcelo

If your password works on your laptop but not on your iPad, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Ensure Correct Entry: Double-check that you are entering the password correctly on your iPad. Sometimes, auto-correct or keyboard settings can lead to incorrect entries.
    2. Check for Spaces: Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the password when you enter it on your iPad.
    3. Update Outlook App: Ensure that your Outlook app on the iPad is updated to the latest version, as older versions may have bugs or issues.
    4. Network Connection: Verify that your iPad is connected to the internet. A poor connection can prevent successful login attempts.
    5. Account Settings: Check if your account settings on the iPad are configured correctly. You may need to remove and re-add your account in the Outlook app.
    6. Two-Factor Authentication: If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, ensure that you are completing that step on your iPad as well.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider resetting your password and trying again or contacting your email administrator for further assistance.
