How to reset your password when not receiving codes

Hello,

I'm currently locked out of my Microsoft account. The one I'm currently paying for, a different account & not this one I'm using at the moment. I keep trying to reset the password, but somehow it got set up with 2-factor authentication. I try to have it send a code to my email, but nothing arrives in my inbox. I then try to have it send a code to my phone, but it tells me to try a different verification method. I tried calling a number for support on the phone, but it just keeps routing me back to a webpage that is unhelpful. I can't even use one of my computers because the username & password is tied into the startup screen. I've tried the old passwords that I had before changing it, but they aren't working & I think the new password might not be what I intended it to be because I'm not sure if a key was turned on or not when I changed it. Is there a human I can speak to so I can get access to my account?

    Hello, cobra pioneer.

Since we are talking about your personal account access data, I recommend contacting Microsoft support directly in the chat.: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=www.microsoft.com

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Windows" and "Technical Support" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" and on the next page, enter your (the one that works) email address and click on "Confirm". A chat window will open in a new tab. Wait for the operator to respond and describe the situation to him.

Note. The chat is available during business hours and on business days according to US time.
