Visitor can't see Word documents in Doc library

Hello, so I'm experiencing a bit of a dilemma because I've added people within my org to have visitor access on SharePoint because I don't want them to have the ability to edit certain things on our SharePoint site. But doing this, I've gotten complaints that they're not able to see any of the "MS Word" docs, but they're able to see my pdf docs. Is this supposed o happen? Are there restrictions to this because it's an O365 file? If so, can this be resolved some way? Thanks in advance!

Whether you have granted these users with read permission to access SharePoint sites? Or these users are external users?

Whether these users can not see all documents in one site collection or in all site collections? In one document library or all document libraries?

Please follow below tips to troubleshoot the issue.

1.Make sure that all documents are published and approved.
2.Make sure that all documents are checked in.
3.Check all documents whether have unique permissions.
4.Check all documents whether are applied sensitivity labels.
