I get this error when I want to deploy Xamarin.Forms iOS app in my device:

Deploy Error: Could not install the application 'C:\Users\{myuser}\AppData\Local\Temp\Xamarin\HotRestart\Signing\{MyApp}.iOS.app\out\{MyApp}.iOS.ipa' on the device {My iPhone}. Details: ApplicationVerificationFailed({10 digits number}) - Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.OzsrZN/extracted/Payload/{MyApp}.iOS.app : 0xe8008015 (A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found.)
2>Deploy failed. The app '{MyApp}.iOS.app' could not be deployed to the device '{My iPhone}'. Please check the logs for more details.

I'm using Visual Studio Professional 2019 Version 16.11.3 on Windows 10 Pro laptop. One month earlier I didn't have problems to deploy the app. My company (developer account) and my (individual account) certificates expired, so I created a new ones (development and distribution) and installed them in the macbook I use to pair with Visual Studio. Then I created provisioning profiles (development and distribution). I think that I installed the profiles using Xcode in the macbook.

In iOS project properties > iOS Bundle Signing > Bundle Signing > Scheme: Automatic Provisioning is selected. I have selected the only team I have (with my company name in it). In Custom Entitlements I have
Entitlements.plist
file.

As the error I get is about provisioning profiles I think that something is wrong with the provisioning profiles. How can I check if everything is correct in apple accounts o in the macbook?

@Jalza Make sure you have added the UDID of your device in provisioning profiles. And uninstall and reinstall the app on your device.

@Kyle Wang yes, all the devices are added to the provisioning profile, and the app uninstalled.

Also I have to say, that when I tried to deploy the app to the iphone, Visual Studio created a new provisioning profile, but I don't know why.

@Jalza Clean and rebuild the project. Try to select Manual Provisioning under Bundle Signing. Refer to Manual provisioning for Xamarin.iOS.

I have had exactly the same happen here the certificates expired and I followed the same process and thinking you did to create new ones and try and get it working again but no luck.

Did you managed to find a solution to the issue before I go down he rabbit hole looking for a fix?

Same problem on my side. My certificate did not expire, I have just started testing the Hot Restart feature. Tested with both manual and automatic provisioning and ensured the UDID of my device is included in the the provisioning profiles.

Could not install the application 'mymobileapp.ipa' on the device iPhone 6s. Details: ApplicationVerificationFailed(3892346901) - Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.XFFGrR/extracted/Payload/mymobileapp.app : 0xe8008015 (A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found.)
2>Deploy failed. The app 'mymobileapp.app' could not be deployed to the device 'iPhone 6s'. Please check the logs for more details.

Of course I cleaned a rebuilt the solution, including number of VS restarts. Nothing helped.

Any ideas are welcome.

It's now time for Microsoft and the Xamarin dev team to sort this provisioning profile mess out. It's got to the point where VS is useless for iOS development. Every single update to VS introduces some kind of provisioning error. Every time I log a problem on Developer Community I have to wait another 2-3 months for a new release to fix the latest bug. Then the next release it happens again. Rinse and repeat.
I'm going to once again log this through Developer Community. I urge you all to do the same.

I'm not very sure how I resolved this problem, but I did it somehow.

I created the profile (and I don't know if a certificate was created too) using Xcode. I created a new project using the same ID of the Xamarin project and then I ran it on a device. Also I archive it using Xcode. I these process Xcode creates a valid profile. After that, Xcode project should be opened to deploy the app from Visual Studio.

I'm very sorry I can't explain it well, but I don't really know how I did it.

Closing as there are multiple issues mixed here on out-of-date versions of Visual Studio.

Check if you are maybe missing some entitlements in entitlements.plist (they need to be the same of the application Identifier)
