How do I connect with, or by-pass, d.docs.live.net security screen

When trying to save a PowerPoint presentation as a video (for eventual upload to YouTube), partway through the process, I am asked to connect to connect with d.doc.live.net but when I enter the username and password that I use to access my M/S account and OneDrive, the same Windows Security screen reappears, asking the same question - but with my password concealed. It appears that the hidden password has 14 digits but my actual password has only 8. This has been going on for days - I just can't get past this screen to save my video. I don't even understand why I need to access d,docs or OneDrive. I am simply trying to save my Powerpoint presentation as a video on my Windows PC desktop. I created the PP file on my PC and just want to save it to my PC. Help!

    Hello,

I was able to find another forum poster having the same issue, apparently this has something to do with onedrive credentials.

Empty credential manager and check the result:

    1. **** Go to Start -> Control Panel.
    2. Go to User Accounts and Family Safety -> Click on User Accounts.
    3. In the left pane, click Manage your credentials.

Now look for the live account ID and password (for OneDrive) in the credential manager and remove it and restart the computer.

Open powerpoint and try to sign into the OneDrive and check if you can access the documents.

Go to File> Accounts and add OneDrive account.

Let me know how it goes,

    JC

With that end result I'm led to believe that the credential might still be looking for your old password and mismatching the login since you already changed it to a new one.

Let's take a step back, I think I've gotten sidetracked by the credentials issue.

At the end of the day you want to save your powerpoint file.
Try logging out of powerpoint and logging back in again, onedrive is normally integrated with your microsoft account on all office apps, there may be an issue with the connection between onedrive and powerpoint if the login screen shows up when you try to save in powerpoint.
