Hi Daljit, since Excel works in the browser but not on your desktop, try starting Excel in Safe Mode by pressing Windows + R, typing excel /safe, and hitting Enter if it opens, disable add-ins under File > Options > Add-ins. Next, repair Office via Settings > Apps > Microsoft 365 > Modify > Online Repair, and make sure both Office and Windows are updated. You can also disable hardware graphics acceleration in File > Options > Advanced. If the issue persists, run the Office Troubleshooter, or consider creating a new Windows profile.

When I try to open a saved excel file, or try to open the desktop app directly, the app just hangs and will not open. I can view all files online in the browser, but not via the desktop. All my other 365 apps are working fine. I've tried doing an app repair, and uninstall etc, nothing has worked
