DFS Reporting without Internet Explorer

Question

With Internet Explorer deprecated and removed. Will Microsoft DFS Team update the DFS Reporting? I'm no longer able to view these reports.

I'll assume you asking about the replication status tool? What problem are you having? It runs fine on my 2022 domain controller. Might try a new download.

No, I'm referring to HTML file created for DFS Replication status report. Newest version is done via powershell with Write-DfsrHealthReport or via DFS Management Console. Via Console, it will give an error if IE11 is not installed but HTML files will still be created, just can't be read.

These html reports is only readable using IE11 which will be deprecated in couple of months.

I am also in need of a solution to this. I don't see an answer to anyone's question. IE is disabled in our environment and I review my DFS reports frequently but now I have no way to view those HTML files with Chrome or Edge.

The best I found as a work around was Firefox. Still isn't pretty but if you open it and click Show all at top, you can at least see the errors and info.
