I found this in the registry, can these be blocking Windows Updates?

Good morning Steven Wells,
The registry entries shown are symptoms of a corrupted Component-Based Servicing store, not the cause. Error 0x800f0985 typically indicates system file corruption or incomplete component registration.
Manually deleting these pending sessions is inadvisable and will likely worsen corruption. The correct resolution requires using the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool to repair the underlying component store. Execute DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth from an elevated command prompt. This operation replaces damaged files with intact versions from Windows Update.
After DISM completes, run sfc /scannow to address remaining system file integrity violations. The registry will repopulate with valid entries once the component store is repaired.
I hope you are clear with the information. Should you have any more questions, feel free to leave a message. It's really appreciated of you to accept the answer to help build the community by sharing your experience with the issue. Thanks!

If you tried DISM and SFC and still fails, I think this is something related to deep-seated component store corruption that those tools can't repair. You can tryn running the Wins Update Troubleshooter from Settings under Update & Security to automate the reset of update components. If this fails, manually stop the BITS, Windows Update, and Cryptographic services via an elevated command prompt, then rename the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 folders to force a rebuild. Restart the services and attempt updating again. For persistent corruption, execute an in-place upgrade using the Media Creation Tool to reinstall Windows while preserving data and applications.
Hope you find this answer useful and accept it in the end. Write me more if the issue persists. Good luck!
