If Office is successfully installed on your PC, you should be able to start the individual applications from the Windows Start menu. (Note that there is no entry for the whole Office suite.)

It sounds like you may have successfully installed Microsoft 365, but the applications are not appearing in your search bar. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Installation: Ensure that the installation was indeed successful. You can do this by going to the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, and checking if Microsoft 365 is listed there.
    2. Search for the Apps: Sometimes, the apps may not show up immediately in the search bar. Try searching for them by their full names: "Microsoft Word" or "Microsoft PowerPoint" instead of abbreviations.
    3. Repair Microsoft 365: You can try repairing the installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, select Microsoft 365, and then choose the option to repair.
    4. Reinstall Microsoft 365: If the above steps do not work, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Microsoft 365. Use the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter to ensure a clean uninstall before reinstalling.
    5. Check for Updates: Make sure your Windows is up to date, as sometimes updates can resolve issues with application visibility.

If you can open Word or PowerPoint by clicking on existing files, it indicates that the applications are installed but may not be properly linked to the Start menu or search functionality.
