Hi D Smith, I completely understand how frustrating this must be you’ve paid for Microsoft Office and have your key ready. but every time you try to download you hit a Service Unavailable message with no clear explanation.

To fix the Service Unavailable Experiencing Technical Difficulties error when downloading Microsoft Office 2024. first check Microsoft Service Health or Downdetector to confirm if there’s an outage and wait if necessary then sign in at setup.office.com with the correct Microsoft account linked to your product key and redeem it from the Services & Subscriptions page clear browser cache and try a different browser while disabling VPN or proxy, flush DNS and reset the network using ipconfig /flushdns, netsh winsock reset, and netsh int ip reset, use the Office Deployment Tool with a configuration XML to install Office offline if the web installer fails, verify that your product key is a retail key and not a volume license key, and if all else fails, contact Microsoft Support for manual activation or remote assistance.
