Printing booklet custom print in word

Question

I am trying to print a booklet in Word, have changed Page Set up but when I try to print Pages 1 and 4, one sided (because I am using card not paper) the settings do not allow me to custom print.

1. If you set the document up as the size of half the sheet (A5 or 5.5" x 8.5"), you can convert to PDF and print selected pages and also, using the "Booklet" setting in the PDF Print dialog, print the whole thing as a booklet.
2. If the document contains just four pages (from what you said, I'm thinking it's a greeting card?), you could try switching to manual duplex. This would then print the first sheet (pages 1 and 4) and prompt for the inside pages, which you can just cancel.
