Game not working when I install mod loader in it.

Basically I'm trying to mod this game called sonic adventure 2 battle and I have the mod manager for it and the mod I want to use, yet when I play the game with the mod loader installed it crashes after a while. But if I uninstall the mod loader it plays just fine just without mods and stuff. I tried looking up how to fix this and I got confused on what to do because there weren't any simple explanations. I even tried contacting the people who made the mod manager but no one even responded. So now I'm resorting here. This is what's currently happening: https://youtu.be/Fx1Yq0HEwLA as you can see 2 logos appear then another screen appears then it crashes. I heard it could be windows updates messing with it but I don't want to do anything that would mess up my computer or mess with my game files and progress.

Hello! Thank you for staying in touch.

I understand your situation, however there is no official report that any Windows update may be causing problems with the mod software you use.

If you believe that an update might be causing issues, you can try uninstalling it. You can check how to do it from the following link:
