Every time it completes installing and restarts until completed100% says this message. Name of update is "Windows 11, version 23H2 (KB5068865)". I have done several steps to fix this issue without ant benefit. I opened CMD prompt and included a number of commands, deleted temporary files, run troubleshot and every time show me a problem with windows update. Eventually a tried to install a repair version but i took long time. What can I do?

If you are encountering the "Something went wrong, undoing changes" error while trying to install the Windows 11, version 23H2 (KB5068865) update, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter: This built-in tool can help identify and fix common problems with Windows Update.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Update.
    2. Check for Disk Space: Ensure that you have enough disk space available for the update. Sometimes, insufficient space can cause installation failures.
    3. Reset Windows Update Components: You can manually reset the Windows Update components by running commands in the Command Prompt. Here are the commands you can use:
         net stop wuauserv
         net stop cryptSvc
         net stop bits
         net stop msiserver
         net start wuauserv
         net start cryptSvc
         net start bits
         net start msiserver

    4. Delete Temporary Files: You mentioned you have already deleted temporary files, but ensure you clear the SoftwareDistribution folder as well. You can do this by navigating to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and deleting its contents.
    5. Perform a System File Check: Run the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run:
         sfc /scannow

    6. Use the DISM Tool: If the SFC scan doesn't resolve the issue, you can use the Deployment Imaging Service and Management Tool (DISM) to fix Windows corruption errors. Run the following command in an elevated Command Prompt:
         DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    7. Consider a Repair Install: If the above steps do not work, you may need to perform a repair install of Windows 11. This can be done using installation media and will keep your files and applications intact.
    8. Check for Known Issues: Sometimes, specific updates may have known issues. You can check the Microsoft support pages for any announcements regarding the update you are trying to install.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
