Frozen loop startup

Although this situation started earlier, with an easy solution right after, this has become more common to the point where it will take me a whole hour to get back in the computer. When the PC starts up ( a Lenovo PC to be exact), after a couple of seconds to getting through, it freezes. And this would sometimes open the BitLocker, but that also freezes. (Ay caramba😮‍💨) And when I do get in (which is a pretty rare chance), I've updated my drivers, troubleshooted, checked my disk, and ran a Diagnostic Test, AND NOTHING IS WORKING. And a main reason why I do this all the time is because when the computer automatically turns off, it goes to sleep, and I can not wake it up. I have done hard restarts and I have even let it rest for days, but nothing works... Also, if I go too far, it might lead to the PC launching on a black screen. Is there ANY WAY how I can solve this issue?

    Hi,

Please try accessing WinRE and from there, explore all the options such as System Repair, System Restore, etc.

Quick note: Before starting this process, please remove all unnecessary external devices connected to your PC to avoid interference.

    1. If your PC is on, turn it off by holding and pressing the power button for 5-10 seconds.
    2. Turn on your PC normally. When you see the spinning circle, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds.
    3. Repeat this process three times. This will take you to the recovery menu.
    4. From the 'Choose an option' screen, select "Troubleshoot." > Advanced > Startup Repair: Check if the system can repair itself.
    5. Click Troubleshoot, then System Restore.

Select a restore point from before the issue occurred.

Let the process finish and check.

    1. Click Troubleshoot > Reset This PC (Keep My Files).

It sounds like you're experiencing significant issues with your Lenovo PC during startup, particularly with freezing and difficulties waking it from sleep. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can consider to address these problems:

    1. Check for Hardware Issues: Ensure that all hardware components are properly connected and functioning. Sometimes, loose connections can cause freezing issues.
    2. Update BIOS: Check if there is a BIOS update available for your Lenovo PC. An outdated BIOS can sometimes lead to compatibility issues and freezing.
    3. Safe Mode: Try booting your PC in Safe Mode. This can help determine if the issue is related to software or drivers. If it works fine in Safe Mode, consider uninstalling recently added software or drivers that might be causing the issue.
    4. Disable Fast Startup: Fast Startup can sometimes cause issues. You can disable it by going to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable, and uncheck "Turn on fast startup".
    5. Check Power Settings: Adjust your power settings to prevent the computer from going to sleep too quickly. Go to Control Panel > Power Options and modify the settings to ensure the computer stays awake longer.
    6. Memory Dump Settings: Make sure your system is configured to create a memory dump file when it freezes. This can help diagnose the issue further. You can configure this in System Properties under the Advanced tab.
    7. Run Diagnostic Tests: Since you've already run some diagnostics, ensure that you are using Lenovo's built-in diagnostic tools, which can be more specific to your hardware.
    8. Check Event Viewer: Look for any critical errors in the Event Viewer that might provide more insight into what is causing the freezes. You can access it by searching for "Event Viewer" in the Start menu.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to consider reaching out to Lenovo support for further assistance, as they may have specific solutions for your model.
