When accessing copilot I get the “Access Restricted you’re not eligible to access copilot due to your age or location”

I am 59 years old and live in Europe. Why is this restricted and how is it removed?

The access restriction message you are encountering when trying to access Copilot may be related to specific licensing conditions or geographic restrictions set by Microsoft. While your age does not seem to be a direct factor, certain features may not be available in all regions or to all users based on their organization's settings or licensing agreements.

To resolve this issue, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check with your organization's admin: They can confirm if there are any specific restrictions or settings that might be affecting your access.
    2. Verify your licensing: Ensure that you have the appropriate licenses for accessing Copilot features. If you are part of an organization, your admin should be able to assist with this.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, reaching out to Microsoft Support may provide clarity on the restrictions and how they can be lifted.

If you are in Europe and have the necessary permissions and licenses, there should not be an age-related restriction preventing access to Copilot.
