Got an update pushed last night. Now, my Outlook application will not connect to my e-mail server.

Now what, how do I go back on the update.

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Can I confirm when you say "pushed", it installed the update and did not connect to the server already correct? is there any error at all that appeared?

You can quickly test it by sending an email to yourself and check if you will receive it.

To revert an update that has caused issues with your Outlook application, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Uninstall the Update: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history > Uninstall updates. From there, you can find the update that was installed and uninstall it.
    2. Check for Software Updates: After uninstalling, check for any new updates that might fix the issue. Go back to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for updates.
    3. Repair Outlook: If uninstalling the update does not resolve the issue, you may want to repair your Outlook application. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, find Microsoft Office in the list, select it, and choose Change. Then select Repair.
    4. Restore Previous Version: If the above steps do not work, you can also consider restoring your system to a previous restore point before the update was applied. Go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore and follow the prompts.

If you continue to experience issues, it may be beneficial to run the Microsoft 365 Diagnostic tool to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
