Hi,

Azure for Students restricts which regions you can deploy resources to. Typically you are restricted to five different regions, and these vary for each person.

Please navigate to Azure Policy -- Authoring -- Assignments using link below:

https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Policy/PolicyMenuBlade/~/Assignments

Click on assignment named Allowed resource deployment regions

Examine Allowed locations Parameter value for list of regions, similar to below (regions in screenshot are different than yours):

The regions shown in your Parameter value are the ones you are allowed to deploy resources to. Please try to create resources in one of these regions and let me know the results.

I understand that you are facing issue when creating a blob storage account in West Europe region.

The error RequestDisallowedByAzure means your Azure for Students subscription has a policy that restricts resource deployment to certain regions for best performance.

Please follow the below steps to check allowed regions for your subscription.

1. As mentioned by @TP, check allowed regions for your subscription
   • Go to Azure Portal → Subscriptions → Policies and review the Allowed locations policy
   • Check for allowed regions.
2. Create the storage account in an allowed region
   • When creating the resource, select a region listed in the policy (e.g., East US, Central US)-https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/storage/common/storage-account-create

Azure for Students subscriptions often have region restrictions to ensure optimal service availability and compliance. These cannot be overridden by the user.
