does "Click here" points to file url in SP2013 doclib or has some javascript handler? If it points to direct file url - is it correct? (you can check it by right click "Click here" link > Copy link > open it in new browser tab).

If it has javascript handler attached try to open browser developer tools (F12) and see will there be any errors in console when you click this link. Also it is useful to check Network tab in developer tools - if request went to SP2013 but failed it will contain details of the response and error response code.
