    Hello,

If the browser is failing to send the code to your phone I recommend trying it again but through incognito mode or a different web browser, if that doesn’t work try using your phone’s mobile data or a friend’s wifi, trying a different source of internet connection usually works to get around the bug.

If the account is still locked you can try the account reinstatement form instead.

    Account Reinstatement

    Hope this helps,

    JC

If your Hotmail account is locked and you're unable to unlock it due to not receiving the verification code, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Retry the Verification Process: Make sure you are entering the correct phone number associated with your account. Sometimes, using a different phone number can help, but ensure that the number is valid and can receive texts.
    2. Check for Third-Party Apps: If you are using any third-party security apps, they may block the verification code from being sent. Try disabling any such apps temporarily and then request the code again.
    3. Use Alternative Verification Methods: If your account is configured for multiple verification methods, try using a different method (like email) if available.
    4. Contact Support: If the above steps do not work, you may need to contact Microsoft support directly for assistance. Since you mentioned difficulty reaching a live agent, consider using the support options available through the Microsoft website or their support forums.
    5. Emergency Access Account: If you have set up an emergency access account in Microsoft Entra, you can use that to regain access to your account.
    6. Wait and Retry: Sometimes, there may be temporary issues with the verification system. Waiting a little while and trying again later can sometimes resolve the issue.

If you continue to face issues, it might be necessary to submit a support ticket for more personalized assistance.
