My Intel Core i5 7500 @ 3.40GHz is not supported by Windows 11, why?

Microsoft has excluded most of the processors previous to 8th Gen, mostly due to the lack of TPM chipset or their compatibility.

Microsoft will continue to support more devices.
In case you are running Windows 10, try open start and search for feedback and open Feedback Hub app and create a new suggestion and include the model and manufacturer of your device and request for your device to become available.

I signed up for the insider program. I have a dell 3050. When I attempted to get Windows 11 after signing up, I got a warning it was not compatible with my system, and it would not install. This was back in early September.

On 10-2-2021 I noticed my system changed looks. This is why…

I’m assuming Microsoft has lowered the system requirements. For what I use my computer for, I haven’t had any issues.
