billing query

Hi,

I need help with an invoice we are paying. The original subscription was made with the email address ******@gia.uk.com and was paid for with a credit card owned by the company Vu.City.

This domain was a legacy domain no longer owned by us but the invoices we are paying are still coming to ******@vu.city. So, in summary we own the email address and credit card - but not the original email address the subscription was created under.

An example invoice number is : G122701328 addressed to Paul Oesten-Creasey who is no longer in our organisation.

How can I move the owner of this invoice and service to ******@vu.city?

I know this is a billing query but there is nowhere I can find to cirect it other than through this Q&A.

Thank you,

Martin Denham

To change the owner of an Azure subscription and update the associated email address, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal using an account that has the necessary permissions (such as a subscription owner or administrator).
    2. Navigate to the subscription you want to transfer. You can find your subscriptions under the "Subscriptions" section in the Azure portal.
    3. Select the subscription you wish to transfer and look for the option to change the subscription owner or to manage access.
    4. Add the new email address (in this case, ******@vu.city) as a co-administrator or owner of the subscription. This will allow the new email to manage the subscription.
    5. Remove the old email address (the legacy domain) from the subscription once the new owner has been added and has accepted the invitation.

If you encounter any issues or if the original email address is still needed for billing purposes, you may need to contact Azure support for assistance in transferring ownership and updating billing information. You can create a support request through the Azure portal for more specific guidance on your situation.
