I set up my business email to open in outlook so I can receive/send emails from that account when I'm logged into outlook. I tried to set up a forward of my business emails to my msn.com email address in outlook, and i get an error message that my email can't be forwarded. I want to turn off that notification, but I can't find where to do it. There are no articles that align with what I need. I need help.

To address the issue of email forwarding errors in Outlook, you may want to check the following:

    1. Disable Account Forwarding: If you have set up forwarding in your Outlook account, you can disable it by following these steps:
      • Sign in to your Microsoft 365 or Office 365 account.
      • Go to Mail > Accounts > Forwarding.
      • Select Stop forwarding and click Save.
    2. Check Inbox Rules: Sometimes, Inbox rules may inadvertently cause forwarding issues. You can check and modify these rules:
      • Sign in to your Microsoft 365 or Office 365 account.
      • Click the gear icon to open the Settings pane.
      • Navigate to Mail > Automatic processing > Inbox and sweep rules.
      • Review and update any rules that might be forwarding your emails incorrectly.
    3. Error Notifications: If you want to turn off notifications related to forwarding errors, you may need to adjust your notification settings in Outlook, though specific steps may vary based on your version of Outlook.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, consider reaching out to your email administrator or consulting Microsoft support for further assistance.

I disabled the forwarding which stopped the error message. However, i tried to set up the forward to another personal email (gmail) address, and received the same error message that it was rejected. Why are the forwarded emails getting rejected from both outlook and gmail?

my outlook account is personal. I linked my business email to outlook which I can read on my laptop but not my iphone. I tried to forward my business emails to my personal email account as a work around, but outlook is not letting me forward my emails to any address.

the error message comes from "******@netorg17114913.onmicrosoft.com" and says my email could not be forwarded to another email address since my email provider rejected it. Do I need to change a setting in godaddy where i got my business email address from?
